A Diversity Dialogue presentation: to celebrate Ada Lovelace Day

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Emma Spanswick, Assistant Professor, Physics and Astronomy at the University of Calgary, as this year's speaker.

Dr. Spanswick's talk is titled: Captivating Space: research, opportunities and personal reflections from the field. Dr. Spanswick will discuss the exciting and emergence of the space weather research field and her personal story of how she became captivated by space. 

Dr. Spanswick will also share her experiences in this particular STEM field and some of her personal challenges throughout her career.
