October 18-20: NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage with NASA’s free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space. November 30: The SET (Science, Engineering and Technology) Conference in Edmonton is a chance for young women and non-binary students in grades 10–12 to learn what an education and career in science, engineering and technology (SET) is all about.
