Courtney Onstad, G.I.T., B.Sc. (Hons), Communications Officer

Courtney Onstad is currently an M.Sc. Candidate at the University of Saskatchewan in the Department of Geological Sciences studying economic geology.  During her graduate studies, she founded a geoscience outreach program at the university to introduce K-12 students to various geoscience concepts and careers. Courtney hopes to pursue a diverse career in geoscience communication and exploration geology. She can be found running trails along the Bow or hiking, kayaking and camping in the mountains. Courtney joined the AWSN team in 2020 and is excited to work with like-minded people passionate about promoting careers for women in STEM.
