If you are able to aid in advocating for supports for nonprofits, please communicate with your government representatives.  There are over 60 000 nonprofit organizations registered in Alberta and many more unregistered, volunteer run organizations supported by registered umbrella organizations like AWSN. These organizations need substantial and flexible funding to continue to serve their communities in unique ways that only nonprofits serve.

Contact your MP, MLA, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, Canada Opposition Leader Andrew Scheer, Premier of Alberta Jason Kenney and Alberta Opposition Leader Rachel Notley,  Many organizations have already submitted their thoughts and shared their letters online: The Muttart Foundation, Imagine Canada, Alberta Nonprofit NetworkImagine Canada has also prepared a form letter that can be used and edited to fit your organizational needs.
