IBM STEM4Girls Teen Tech Club

What:

For girls entering Grades 10 & 11:

IBM will be hosting an immersive 8-week long program for teen girls to create projects (i.e. an app or website) in teams to learn coding, tech entrepreneurship skills, and build confidence.

The final projects will be presented to a panel of Dragons and will be given the opportunity to exhibit their projects at Calgary's Beakerhead Tech Showcase. Various experts from IBM and District Ventures will be delivering content and mentoring the girls.

The club will be held out of IBM's brand new Innovation Space located in the District Ventures office in Kensington, allowing girls the opportunity to interact with technology startups working out of the space.

Participating in the club is free. Registration is limited. To apply to the Teen Tech Club, please fill out the registration form by May 28th.
