"Invest In Her" is a workshop for parents with daughters in Grades K-12 who see future trends and want to prepare their little girl for a promising and fulfilling life path.
With a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, this workshop is designed to help parents identify the actions and reactions they may practice when relating to their daughter that can hinder her success
later in life. Once identified, we will implement ways to counter these effects with simple gestures and interactions.
-Stereotype Threats: How Pre-Conceived Stereotypes Threaten Her Future
-Risk Analysis: How We Teach Young Girl's Not To Take Chances on Themselves
-Instructing Fear: How We Teach Young Girls To Be Scared Of Failing
Re-occurring themes will be discussed and parents will be led through steps they can take to ensure their daughters are free to pursue the best path for themselves in the future.
