AWSN Board Member for Recruitment
Jacqueline received her M.Sc. in Earth Science from the University of Waterloo, and is currently working as a contaminant hydrogeologist.
Jacqueline brought the world of geology and environmental science to classrooms each year as her children progressed through school. Knowing the importance of providing positive and diverse role models to youth encouraged her to continue promoting the joys of science to children, young girls in particular. Later, she assumed the role of mentor for The Intimitrons From Area 51, an award-winning all-girls high school robotics team.
Engaging youth in robotics to inspire female participation in STEM has led her to join the AWSN board, representing recruitment. Mentoring students and young professionals continues to be an important part of her life.
