AWSN's former President, Jean Springer, has been honored by Calgary's YWCA as one of 150 women they are celebrating for 150+ years called She Who Dares. YW Calgary is thrilled to share our Canada 150 project: a creative, engaging and interactive installation highlighting the stories of 150 women, known and lost to history who have impacted Calgary during the last 150+ years. Their stories are able to be seen at their webpages and through being able walk through the installation itself. The installation will be able to be visited at various locations around Calgary. Currently the installation is at:

But GE chose an unorthodox strategy by creating custom-designed animations of 12 influential women in STEM and projecting them onto the ceiling of Grand Central Terminal in New York City.
