After 25 years under the AWSN umbrella, Operation Minerva Calgary will now be organized by Telus Spark. AWSN will continue to sponsor the program and aid in a smooth transition. Mentor and student registrations are now open for the 2020 event on May 21.

Operation Minerva has been welcoming grade 8 girls to a one day industry mentorship program in Calgary for 31 years! AWSN has stewarded the program since our inception in 1993 and is proud to pass the program on to Telus Spark to grow and foster. 

February 1 - April 3 - Applications are being accepted for the WISEST Summer Research Program.  The program is open to current grade 11 students interested in historically non-gender traditional STEM fields.

February 28 - UA-WiSE presents the 6th annual Black Tie Affair: Looking Through the Glass Ceiling in Edmonton.  Buy tickets here.

March 7 - Makerminds STEAM Day in support of IndigeSTEAM and the Heloise Lorimer STEAM team will take place in Calgary.

May 2020 - IndigeSTEAM will be holding their second annual STEM Leadership and Mentors Retreat in May 2020.  Watch the IndigeSTEAM website for more details or e-mail info@indigeSTEAM.ca.

May 21 - Operation Minerva Calgary will take place based at Telus Spark.
