WinSTEM Week: Celebrating and Empowering Women in STEM in Alberta

WinSTEM Week is an annual celebration organized by the Alberta Women’s Science Network (AWSN) to promote and increase the visibility of women and underrepresented groups in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) across Alberta. Held around Ada Lovelace Day in October, WinSTEM Week showcases the contributions of women in STEM, builds community connections, and encourages the next generation through networking, educational events, and outreach activities. By fostering engagement and collaboration, AWSN aims to create an inclusive environment that empowers women to thrive and lead in STEM fields.
