She dedicates her time to organizations like Edmonton’s Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, and Action for Healthy Communities (AHC), which aim to provide struggling individuals with all sorts of relief. She is an integral member of her school’s Muslim Student Organization (MSO) and has recently joined the University of Alberta’s Women in Scholarship, Engineering, Science, and Technology (WISEST) Youth council. Hazal strives to empower young women, advocate for diversity, and provide students with the right resources and support. She is confident her commitment and leadership will have an engaging and long-lasting mark on her peers and community.
