Ear rings

AWSN provides support to programs accross Alberta who are working to increase diversity and inclusion in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields.  Your donations help us continue this important work through events and programs designed to recruit and retain under-represented populations in Alberta STEM fields and recognize those undertaking this work.

In addition to accepting your generous donations of any amount, AWSN has partnered with Hillberg & Berk to offer Supernova purple earrings! Earrings are available for $75 including shipping within Canada.  To receive your earrings, enter your donation and choose the number of earrings you would like - final costs are shown on the next page before payment processing.

Thank you to Hillberg & Berk for your community partnership in support of AWSN's efforts to advocate for STEM in Alberta and beyond!

"The University of Calgary student club, Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) is one of the most active clubs on campus in promoting gender equality and diversity in STEM. Last year, we had over 1,000 student members who attended our events. We hosted 12 events, which were a mixture of academic, professional, and social in nature, while we also ran 10 tutorials for undergraduate science and engineering courses. AWSN funding has been critical to our success, providing us with the means to organize events at the scale we need to attract large volumes of students. AWSN has been a firm supporter of our club’s mission to empower women to pursue STEM fields in the face of the gender disparities. With AWSN’s support, WISE is working to empower the next generation of female leaders in STEM."
