Alberta Women's Science Network (AWSN) is excited to announce that the Alberta Government has officially declared Oct. 8 - 14th, 2023 as Women in STEM (WinSTEM) Week in Alberta! As part of this official declaration, AWSN will be hosting our annual WinSTEM Week Equity in Motion virtually between Oct. 8 - 14th. This event will allow participants to walk, jog, run or roll in support of women and equality in STEM!

As a sponsor, you will be supporting an organization which aims to promote gender equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in STEM. AWSN connects, unites and supports STEM programs throughout the province through networking, advocacy, funding, in-kind support, collaborative partnerships, and volunteer resource connections. Sponsorship details can be found here for 3 levels:

  • Gold ($2000 & greater) includes 8 complimentary race registrations and more
  • Silver ($1000 - $1999) includes 5 complimentary race registrations and more
  • Bronze ($500 - $999) includes 2 complimentary race registrations and more
  • Donations under $500 can be made on the donations page

AWSN is a registered nonprofit organization in Alberta and cannot issue charitable donation tax receipts.

We ask that you please provide confirmation and payment of sponsorship before September 30th, 2023. Non-monetary donations are accepted and will be used in raffle prizes. For non-monetary donations, please email sponsorship@awsn.org to coordinate pickup.
